GOD HAS PURCHASED THE GREATEST GIFT JUST FOR YOU
Will you accept His loving gift? The choice is yours.
God is reaching out to you. Sin has placed the human race in an eternal predicament, destined to be condemned to an eternity without God.
You cannot solve the problem of sin in your own life. But God, who is perfect, can and has. John 3:16-17 states, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” Romans 5:8 reads, “God demonstrates His own love towards you, in that while you were still living a life of sin, Christ died for you.”
Romans 6:23 describes the gift that God has purchased just for you: “…the gift of God is ETERNAL LIFE in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Admit your spiritual need. The one word that defines all sin is the Greek word “harmatia” which means, “to miss the mark.” What is God’s mark? Jesus said, “Be perfect as My Father in heaven is perfect.” Unless you are a perfect person, you have missed the mark; therefore you are a sinner. Romans 3:23 states, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
What are the wages for sin? Please realize that heaven is a perfect place. It is a “sin-free zone.” Yet every one of us falls short of being perfect. The Bible says,”The wages of sin is death.” You must understand that God will never send you to hell. God will only honor your choice. So an eternity without God awaits all those who have rejected His gift of Jesus Christ.
What must I do to get His gift? Simply come to Him and humbly receive it! Matthew 11:28-30 says, “Come to Jesus, all you who labor and are heavy burdened, and you will find rest for your soul.”
John 1:12 says, “For as many as received Jesus, to them He gave the right to become the children of God.” And Revelation 3:20 says, “Behold, Jesus stands at the door (of your heart) and knocks. If anyone hears His voice and opens the door, He will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” Jesus stands at the door of your heart and knocks, seeking entrance into your life.
If you would like to receive Jesus Christ into life right now, then from the sincerity of your own heart, say a prayer that is something like this:
Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and I believe you died for my sins. Please forgive me, I repent of my sins and open the door of my life to do Your will. I receive you as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me.
The Bible says, “If you confess your sins, he is faithful and just to forgive you of all your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
The Bible also promises that: “God has given us eternal life and this life is found in Jesus. Whoever has believed in the name of Jesus Christ may know they have eternal life.” (1 John 5:11-12)
